Relaxing Marsh Morning
Relaxing Marsh Morning is perfect for relaxation. It has a steady pace that keeps the mind engaged. Red-winged blackbirds parlay back and forth, while an American Bittern solos his unique call every few minutes. It is an odd sound which is vaguely reminiscent of a hand pump.
A pair of wild geese wake up at the far end of the marsh and fly overhead, and later a duck flies by and lands in the water channel. Other birds in the recording include swamp sparrows and warblers. Relaxing Marsh Morning is recommended for relaxation but not for meditation or sleep because of the amount of activity in the recording.
On the far side of the marsh a white birch forest rises from the wetland edge to a tall cliff which echos the bittern, woodpeckers, and wild geese. Though the marsh is mostly filled with sedges and grasses, Relaxing Marsh Morning was recorded near a small central channel of open water.
